GiveHalfCafe was formed by two families that connected over a shared love of coffee and a strong desire to help the most in need. We've come up with five words that describe what we're all about:

Action:

We believe that you, like us, really do care about those suffering under poverty and want to do something about it. We provide a tangible outlet for you to buy something you’d buy anyway with ½ of the profits going directly to fight against extreme poverty and its affects.

Connectivity: 

We want to connect you directly with the most in need and those that have dedicated their lives to help them. You are joining thousands of others to build wells, provide hope, and give life, accomplishing what any one of us by ourselves could never do. And what better way is there to bring all of us together than over a cup of coffee.

 Transparency:

We believe that you ought to know exactly how your money is helping. We support specific charitable organizations that are dedicated not only to charity but also sustainable economic development to address the underlying causes of poverty. We believe in financial transparency and stewardship and will show you exactly how your money is funding specific projects and initiatives. To see our current projects click here.

We believe that the United States, the world’s richest country can use business as an engine for good. Generosity and hope has a way of increasing safety throughout the world. 63 million Americans now base their buying decisions at least in part on how their purchases affects the world.
