“When I first learned about the work of Senai Global and their ability to build a sustainable well in rural Ethiopia for only $5,000, I tried to figure out how my family could sponsor a well. I wanted to make a difference and wanted to teach my kids about what life is like for those less fortunate than us. But I didn’t have that kind of money and didn’t know many others that did either. GiveHalf Café was born out of the belief that many of you like us want to make a difference, and that together we can accomplish what any one of us couldn’t on our own. Charity does not have to be the exclusive domain of the very rich and even in small ways, we together can make a significant difference.
We need your help to spread the vision of GiveHalf Café. One way you make a difference is by sharing our coffee with your friends by giving them a “Coffee Drop”, a 2.5 oz packet of our premium coffee, helping you spread the word with a great pot of coffee. Each "Coffee Drop" is packaged in a hand made burlap sack by Women At Risk in Ethiopia, providing an alternative to a life of prostitution.
